Apple® today announced that Andrea Jung, chairman and chief executive officer of Avon Products, was elected to Apple’s board of directors. Andrea also serves on the board of directors of the General Electric Company and is a member of the New York Presbyterian Hospital board of trustees and the Catalyst board of directors.

L'année 2007 a enregistré une progression de l'usage des systèmes d'exploitation Apple. En décembre, les différentes versions de Mac OS représentaient au moins 8,01 % du trafic sur le web, grignotant des parts à Windows, rapporte la société américaine d'audience en ligne Net Applications.

Globalement, le second semestre a davantage réussi à l'OS d'Apple, après ses 6 à 6,5 % des visites sur la première moitié de l'année. Sur les mêmes périodes, Net Applications fait état d'un usage de Windows en baisse, perdant 2 % sur l'ensemble de l'année.
